Both providers support flight and hotel booking. The reasons to choose OnArrival are its wider travel product mix, complete embedded booking experience and connected supplier, agent and payment workflows.

Product availability, supplier actions and payment options depend on your market and agreement. Comparison reviewed 20 September 2026. Unconfirmed means native MCP support could not be established from Duffel’s published product information.

Choose OnArrival when your product needs more of the trip.

A bank can add a travel section to its app. A loyalty programme can offer flights, stays and activities for points. A travel company can connect its own suppliers. An AI product can turn an approved request into a flight or hotel booking.

Do we have to launch every travel product?

No. Start with the products you need, such as flights and hotels. Add activities, ground travel or eligible protection as your product grows. You can also use standalone services such as hotel mapping.

Can we keep our suppliers and payment accounts?

Yes. OnArrival supports bringing your airline agreements, GDS access and direct hotel rates. You can also use supported existing payment accounts, including Stripe or Adyen. The connections and payment setup are agreed for your launch.

Can we use our own interface?

Yes. Use APIs to build your own screens, SDKs for selected components, or microfrontends to embed a ready-made booking experience. MCP gives AI agents another way to use the booking tools.

How do we switch without losing existing bookings?

Start by agreeing which new bookings move to OnArrival. Existing bookings retain their original supplier references, payment history and servicing responsibilities until they are completed or refunded.
