# Search, book and manage flights through one API.

Bring airline content into one integration: airlines’ own booking feeds (NDC), the big shared booking networks (GDS) and low-cost airlines. Sell fares with the bags and seats people actually want. When plans move, handle supported changes and refunds through the same API.

In short

## Flights, in four steps.

One connection gives your app fares from hundreds of airlines, and the tools to look after each booking once it is made.

1. Search One search covers full-service and low-cost airlines.
2. Choose Travellers compare fares with bags and seats shown up front.
3. Book Pay and issue the ticket under the setup agreed for your launch.
4. Look after Handle supported changes, refunds and disruption alerts through the same API.

## Three airline sources. One API.

Each source works differently. You get one offer format, and every offer still shows what its airline allows.

NDC

### Airlines’ own feeds (NDC)

NDC is the airline industry’s newer standard for selling fares and extras directly. We maintain each airline connection and its version changes. Every offer shows the actions its airline supports.

Carrier-specific capabilities

GDS

### Booking networks (GDS)

Sabre, Amadeus and Travelport, for the long tail of older airline connections and tickets across partner airlines. Search uses cached availability. Fare rules decide when the price must be checked again.

Sub-second cache

LCC

### Low-cost airlines, direct

Connect low-cost airlines directly for fares, bags, seats and bundles. What you can sell and change depends on each airline connection.

SELL

### Our ticketing authority

Sell under the ticketing setup agreed for your launch, or bring your own airline contracts and accreditation. During onboarding we confirm who issues tickets, in which markets, and who is responsible for what.

How it works

## How airline offers reach your app.

Search returns ranked offers with fare, taxes, bags and seats already in one object. Book with the offer ID and a payment token. The shape is the same whichever source answered. Offer validity and any required price check depend on the booking flow.

In depth

## The hard parts, already handled.

Compare fares and extras, then manage supported changes, cancellations and refunds after booking.

01

### Branded fares & extras

Fare types such as Basic or Flex, plus bags, seats, meals, lounge access and priority boarding. Shown the way each airline intends, and comparable across airlines.

Shop

02

### Virtual interlining

Combine flights from airlines that have no agreement to ticket together. Where available, the itinerary shows connection protection, baggage handling and recovery options.

Supply

03

### Your negotiated fares

Show your corporate or agency fares in the same search as public ones. Eligibility, fare rules and ticketing references stay attached, so travellers only see fares they can book.

Supply

04

### Full order management

Request supported changes, refunds and exchanges through the booking API. Cases that need airline approval or manual work go to the agreed support team, with the booking history attached.

Service

05

### Seat maps in one format

Show cabin layouts and per-seat prices where the airline provides them, in one format across all your sources.

Shop

06

### Disruption pipeline

Schedule changes and disruptions, such as cancellations and delays, trigger a webhook (an automatic message to your system) with ranked rebooking options attached. Set an auto-rebook policy and most disruptions resolve themselves.

Questions

## Flights: common questions

Something we haven’t covered? [Talk to the team](https://www.onarrival.com/company#contact). We can help you work through your integration.

**How should I check coverage for my launch?**

Start with the routes, airlines and markets you need. During onboarding, confirm the available fares, ticketing setup and supported changes and refunds for that scope. The total airline count does not guarantee that every fare or servicing action is available on every connection.

**Do I need my own IATA or ARC accreditation?**

No. IATA and ARC accreditation are the licences that let a seller issue airline tickets. You can sell under OnArrival’s ticketing authority from your first booking. If you later get your own accreditation, we switch the issuing path without any API change.

**Can travellers really book low-cost airlines, or is it screen-scraped?**

Bookable. We have direct API connections with 140+ low-cost airlines, with real inventory and real change and refund flows. Nothing is scraped and no robot fills in a checkout form.

**How do changes and refunds work across sources?**

You use the same orders API whatever the source. We translate the request into each airline’s own process (NDC OrderChange, GDS reissue, or low-cost self-service) and return one result with the fare difference and penalties listed.

**What happens during a schedule change or cancellation?**

A webhook (an automatic message to your system) fires with the affected booking and ranked rebooking options. You can accept automatically by policy, show the options to the traveller, or pass the case to a person on your team.

**Can I bring my own airline contracts and consolidator fares?**

Yes. Private fares, corporate deals and consolidator fares (wholesale airline fares) sit in the same search and are deduplicated against public fares. Your negotiated fare wins when it should.
